Designed in 2012, Pentago were the master planners for this marina and village centre plus, resort housing development designed in 2004. This was the brain child and inspiration from the then prime minister of Malaysia. Tun Dr Mahatir. He was very active and ` hands on’ in the early stages of this design with regular meetings with him. He personally guided the direction of the project. The final product consisted of a 100 berth yacht marina and facilities a commercial village centre a backpackers hotel plus a four star tourist hotel and resort housing for sale. The architectural styles varied however the major inspiration came from the local Malaysian context. Landscape played a major part of this design with ample allowance for public spaces, beach promenades, parks and gardens.
